Front Desk Officer

The Front Desk Officer is responsible for welcoming guests, managing incoming calls, handling inquiries, and ensuring smooth front-office operations. This role serves as the first point of contact for visitors and customers, providing professional customer service and administrative support to the organization.


Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome visitors in a friendly and professional manner.

  • Answer, screen, and direct phone calls to appropriate staff.

  • Manage appointment scheduling and maintain visitor logs.

  • Handle customer inquiries, provide information, and resolve minor issues.

  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area.

  • Receive and distribute mail, deliveries, and packages.

  • Assist with basic administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and data entry.

  • Ensure front desk operations follow company policies and procedures.

  • Support other departments with administrative needs as required.


Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional administrative training is a plus.

  • Proven experience as a Front Desk Officer, Receptionist, or similar role.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Word, Excel, email).

  • Professional appearance and positive attitude.

  • Ability to remain calm and polite under pressure.

  • Good interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
